Opened in 2012 from the shared dream of three friends in the Porta Venezia neighborhood, Pavé is an artisanal pastry shop that works every day to offer the best possible breakfast.

Specializing in leavened products, the pastry shop offers a selection of bread, sweet and savory brioches, puff pastries, cookies, and single-portion fresh pastries inspired by the French school, as well as traditional Italian and Lombard desserts. Alongside the daily leavened goods, we also offer traditional large leavened cakes like Panettone (now available 365 days a year) and Colomba.
Awarded as the best bar in Italy and among the top fifty pastry shops in Italy by the Gambero Rosso Guide from its opening year to the present, and highlighted by the New York Times in 2015 as a must-visit in the city, Pavé is like a home living room where you can enjoy high-quality food in a completely informal setting.
In 2016, Pavé doubled its offerings with a second Milanese shop, developing the gelato project in parallel with the new Pavé-Gelati&Granite format—a world where its creations are transformed into sub-zero versions. There are currently two locations dedicated to gelato, with the addition of the via Cadore shop in May 2021. Pavé’s gelato shop has been regularly awarded the three cones by Gambero Rosso—the industry’s highest honor—since its first year of opening.
The new Pavé laboratory, inaugurated between 2020 and 2021 during the pandemic, has confirmed and strengthened the original mission: a love for leavened products, 100% in-house production from dough to packaging, and the belief that controlling the entire production cycle provides added value and transparency for the customer.
